Poetry

This week we have started exploring poetry during our writing lessons.  We have learnt that there are lots of different forms of poetry and are looking forward to exploring them over the next few weeks.  We have only just started, but already are feeling proud of the work we are doing and wanted to share some Onomatopoeic Poems with you, so please read on...

  1. After reading your poems I could almost smell the rain and feel the leaves.
    Great work.

I have seen some poems in the shape of what is being described. For example describing a tree is written in the shape of one!
Looking forward to more of your work.
